Are you experiencing a mouth that is as dry as our current climate? Here are 5 tips on how to not only alleviate the discomfort, but to fix this problem in total.

Limit Your Caffeine Intake

Caffeine is know to dry out the mouth, and if you are already experiencing issues with dry mouth, limiting the amount of caffeine you consume will aid in the dryness of your mouth.

Chew Sugar-Free Gum

Chewing gum engages your body’s salvation response, thus creating a wetter mouth.

Drink Lots Of Water

This might seem like a given, but not only does drinking lots of water during these summer months keep you hydrated, but can help your mouth feel less dry. Dry mouth can be caused from many things, but dehydration especially. Fighting dehydration with water means you fight dry mouth, too.

Use A Humidifier

Arizona is known for it’s dry heat, but your home / work environment doesn’t need to be. Using a humidifier will help keep moisture in the air, greatly alleviating the symptoms of it.
